Every Thursday in April, the Wisconsin Historical Society’s Local History Outreach Team will offer a one-hour Zoom webinar on a topic relevant to the local history community for its Spring Webinar Series. Local and national speakers will discuss fundraising, digitization projects, outreach and collections while also fielding questions from audience members.

Outreach and engagement. You’ve heard them (sometimes interchangeably!). You’ve heard that should be doing them, but what are they exactly? How are they distinct from each other? Where do they show up in the local and community history world? Join us on Thursday, April 20, as Laura Damon-Moore, Library Strategist and Consultant with the Wisconsin Library Services, discusses these important approaches to sharing and building collections with your community and simple, actionable ideas for putting them into practice at your organization.
